I think I am liking Fred Thompson

I have been dismayed over the lack luster conservatism of this current administration and I have been nearly despondent about the cast of mediorce characters claiming to be republicans. Then along came Fred. He is an unapologetic conservative and I am happy.

You can get a good idea how Thompson thinks by reading his rebuttal to a piece by Ramesh Ponnuru in National Review titled “Thompson’s Tort Trouble”.

Besides that, I like him in Law and Order. And ontop that...the potential first lady...well...

Perhaps Bush did not lie....

I am amazed that the liberals forget that they too once believed that Saddam had WMD's, supported Terrorism and even was seeking Nukes. But the hatred for George W. is so deep that they will accuse him of anything.

As I see it, Bush made the decision he made based on the evidence he had. Evidence that everyone else had and believed as well. I am confident, if this happened on Clintons watch, he would have taken similar actions. If John Kerry was in office, he too would have taken similar action.

At least, I hope they would have put the safety of our nation ahead of their liberal leanings.

What is important??

Everytime I turned around all I heard about was Paris, Paris, Paris. I find it sad that what our news folks find most important to broadcast is the antics of some flaky girl. I also find it sad that most young people will only recognize two out of the four photos. Somewhere our priorites are goofed up!
